Mars launches Snickers and Bounty Plant protein powder

Recently, candy giant Mars launched two unique products: Bounty and Snickers Plant Protein powder. These two variants are already available in the form of a chocolate bar, also sold by Mars. This product is currently available in the UK. A source claims, “In the UK, many consumers are choosing to include vegetarian options. Also, about 50% of consumers are opting for a plant-based diet.” Fans of Snickers and Bounty can enjoy the flavours, along with getting the advantage of a protein source.

Mars has ventured into the plant-based and vegan market recently, with launches like- CO2COA. CO2COA is the first vegan milk chocolate bar.

About the two products:

The Snickers plant protein has a Chocolate Caramel and Peanut flavour, while the Bounty plant protein has dark chocolate and coconut flavour.

Both the powders offer 10g of protein per serving.

The Bounty variant is 127 kcal per serving, while the Snickers variant is 114 kcal per serving.

Bounty and Snickers protein powder contain pea and brown rice protein.
